Girls High School Basketball on Friday night,

Grand Haven won at home over Jenison 57-to-31. Alex Law with 12 points as the Lady Bucs stay in first place in the OK Red Conference 6-and-1 and 12-and-1 overall. The Spring Lake girls fell at Grant 50-to-38 as they dropped to 12-and-2 overall and 6-and-2 in the Lakes 8 Conference. Western Michigan Christian beat G.R. Covenant Christian 45-to-37. Below, the Bucs Hanna Wilkerson shooting a free throw.

Boys basketball...

Danny Cotter scored 20 points as the Grand Haven boys won at home over Jenison 61-to-34. The Bucs improved to 4-and-3 in the OK Red Conference and 6-and-5 overall. Spring Lake boys won at Grant 63-to-62. Covenant Christian beat Western Michigan Christian by a final of 52-to-41.

A little snow this morning and tomorrow along with temps dropping to a high of 18 degrees on Sunday before warming up again. I saw a lot of people I knew on Friday night. It's always good seeing Dave Law.

What a dominating performance by the Grand Haven girls basketball team who won at home over Jenison 57-to-31 on Friday night. Alex Law leading the way with 12 points. The Spring Lake girls fell at Grant 50-to-38 ...Fruitport girls won in overtime over Tri-County 57-to-53. A nice win by the Grand Haven boys at home over Jenison 61-to-34. Danny Cotter with 20 points. Spring Lake won a close one at Grant by a fnal of 63-to-62. Hudsonville 60-to-49 over Grandville....Godwin Heights over Allendale by a final of 77-to-59...

Coming up on Saturday, we have the "Saturday Sportsline" at 9:00am. We'll recap all of the games and playback highlights from the games along with the coaches interviews. Joining us will be Spring Lake football coach Jerry Rabideau who is coaching the West squad this summer in the All-Star game that will be held at Central Michigan University.
